What's so bad about being human, anyway? As long as you try to get along with other races, it shouldn't matter. We don't really know what we're up against right now, so wouldn't it be safer and better to make as many allies as you can? If you say right off the bat that you don't like a type of person, you're making it harder for yourself.
Well, that's what I think, anyway. I like being human and I like talking with everyone.

Not that xenians are free from prejudice, either. Or Remade, for that matter...but they're rarer. Humans tend to be the most hateful. The ones that would keep others enslaved. It's telling that the ruling class, at least here in New Crobuzon, has always been human...and has always kept the fReemade and xenians down.
Knowing what it is doesn't make it more correct.
I saw that you're seventeen. I'm seventeen as well. Hee.
I wish everyone got along better. All I want is peace.
Really? What's your name? I'm Lloyd.
Same... though I think that's what anyone would want.
[Sorry for repost! Grammar.]
Humans are pathetic, selfish, despicable creatures. They will only continue to fester in their own greed until they destroy themselves.
You're the guy with the spikey hair Zelos hangs around!
Spikey? And you're Seles, aren't you? Are you in danger?Let's take a look at Genis, hmm? If he'd been brought up all alone somewhere, he wouldn't hate humans, or elves, or half-elves or anything else. But he was raised in an area where humans were prejudiced against him - it's no wonder he gets frustrated in return.
But why did the humans treat him like that? Because their parents did, and their parents before that, and so on. Discrimination is mostly a product of society. It'll probably take a long time to really stop. In fact, it might just never go away.
At least, Lady Ninian and her brother were... that other one wasn't so much...I don't know if I'd want to be one.I... might not be used to dealing with other races at all, but... it's possible for everyone to get along. It has to be.
I think they're pretty impressive. You'll find humans just about anywhere you go. Resilient and stubborn... but those are just two of the traits that I love about them.
You can see many many sorts of creatures through the ages- but one thing's for sure. Humans tend to beat the odds and keep going, no matter what.
I just want to say for you guys to stay that way.
Ershin clarifies, however: this is not always a positive quality. Ershin says that she has seen great kindnesses and good works done by this method, but Ershin says that the mortal races are also capable of startling effectiveness in cruelty and pettiness. Ershin says that it is the way of mortals to focus upon the narrow realms of their interest. She says that this does not always lead to a wretched state of mind, but says that it is typically the cause when one arises. She remarks upon the irony of the definition humans use for their word "inhumanity." I do not understand.
Ershin says that while it requires a great deal of patience at times, regardless all that can be done is to attempt to guide and assist the mortal kinds when necessary. Ershin admits that it can be rewarding at times.
Humans are so funny. They do such surprising things sometimes.
